Closed for Labor Day!

It seems as though we only just celebrated Memorial Day and here we are at the end of another summer, celebrating Labor Day!

Please note that we will be closed on Monday, September 1st for the Labor Day holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 2nd at 9 am. This will delay all order processing, print processing and out-going shipments a minimum of 24 hrs. Please allow at least one additional business day in the turnaround time of your order at this time.

All emails and phone messages will be answered in the order that they were received on Tuesday morning.

Plus, as a bonus, if you preorder your holiday cards or announcements, you will receive a 15 percent discount ABOVE any other discounts to which you may be entitled with our quantity discount program!

Fall is almost upon us, and with the kids back in school now, or soon, what better time than to share an update with your family! We recently launched new Thanksgiving and Halloween cards! We are excited about these as well, and hope that you can find something suitable for Fall!

I also have some news, I have moved over from the customer service department, which Jessica has now taken over for us, and am now moving towards marketing and new product development. Finally, here are a couple of designs to share this week, firstly, one of our best sellers, theKarson baby girl birth announcement. The mom announced the baby on her own, and we were happy to adjust the text for her needs.

And a take on our First Birthday Blue design, a sweet little guy, celebrating his first!

August Already!

We're already August, and before you know it, the holidays will be upon us!  Our holiday line will be be debuting very soon, so watch this space!!

My photo tip for you all this week is to think about angles.  When you're taking pictures, don't just snap 10 shots from the same position.  Get down on your subject's level and change it up.  You'll find you capture pictures that highlight different aspects of his/her cuteness! 

I have 2 favorites from the past week.

First up is our Daniel birth announcement.  This was a good use of angles. (I particularly like the close up in the middle! :D)

And the second is our Alyssa design done with custom colors.  Another good way to show off different shots of your sweet little one!

Someone new is joining our team!

Sweet Baby Designs is pleased to welcome Jessica Fairchild to our team! Jessica is a recent college graduate from Alvernia University in Pennsylvania. She is joining our customer service and shipping department and we are so thrilled to have her!

Jessica brings to our team, exceptional customer service skills and a knack for organization and problem-solving!
