Good morning everyone!!!

I hope you all are having a great summer so far! We are enjoying the sun and heat over here in the East, especially after such a wicked winter. I know I am loving taking the kids to the beach, and getting some great photos!

The photo tip this week is...take your photos in natural light! It's much easier to work with. Even taking photos outside is very nice, you won't tend to get the shadows and red eye, if you watch the angle you take the photos. Setting baby on a nice, plain blanket outside, and taking some photos may give you some clear shots that you wouldn't ordinarily get inside. Experiment and have fun! Most photographers prefer natural light to anything else.

On to some designs to share:

First up, I have a cardstock version of our Blue Green Birthday InvitationThe customer ordered cardstock, so we were able to add photos to the back at no additional charge. She chose to add three smaller photos, rather than 1 larger one. There was also some light glare in some of the photos, that I touched up for her, also at no additional fee. Please keep in mind, we do photo touch ups and conversions at NO extra cost!

Next up, a custom design. It has the colors/features of our Alyssa Photo birth announcement but it only shows one photo, with the font from the Gillian Photo Birth announcement.The two sisters look so cute together!

Lastly, I have a custom Steven photo birth announcement. The parents chose to highlight just the name the child would be called (not his full name) in the aqua print, as well, they added a monogram to the bottom.

another week in review!

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a great summer! Here are some of my favorites from this past week!
First up is our Kaylene design.  Simple and fun with pink brown and white dots!

Next is our Jaden announcement in a 4x6 format instead of 5x5

And here's our girl's version of the same announcement, our Layla announcement in a 5x5 format with the photo in color.  Such a sweet design!

Last up is our Michell announcement done in a 5x7 cardstock that allowed for pictures on the back!  What a great way to include sibling pictures!

Happy Canada Day today to all of our Canadian customers! Also, we want to wish all of our US customers a Happy 4th of July as well! For all of our customers, have a wonderful holiday this week, whichever you celebrate, and hope that you have the opportunity to spend some time with your families and loved ones! We will be closing at 6 pm EST on Thursday, July 3rd, and reopening at 9 am on Monday, July 7th. There will be no customer service, or shipping on the 4th, or over the weekend as usual. We do hope you'll email us your questions, and I will handle them in the order received, when I'm back in on Monday. Also, any orders or proof modifications placed during the weekend, will be processed on the 7th in the order received.

We will be debuting some brand new themed birthday invitations very soon, as well as our new Holiday Card Line for 2008. Please keep checking back for this, as we are tweaking and getting things just perfect for you! We look forward to seeing our valued customers this Holiday season, and will announce more regarding this in the near future!

I have a couple of designs to share this week, first is a beautiful design of our Prince Folded Birthday invitation. It was modified for a folded 4x5.5 card, rather than the 5x5 that is shown. The photo was used with permission from Bella Bleu Photos. The card also featured a green scheme, rather than the blue shown in our sample. We do change all fonts, colours etc, at no charge! Shown below is the front, and the inside flap

Next up, is our Bright Dots Boy Birthday Invitation. This one was modified for a 5x5 size, allowing for 2 extra photos on the bottom.
