Happy Tuesday everyone! This week, I want to stress just how it is to get the best quality shots in your designs, by yourself! We have made some beautiful designs this week, these are just a few, and you'll see that even though the photos were taken by the customers themselves, they are beautiful! Just set up a photo shoot with your child or baby, and snap away! You'd be surprised at the photos you can take yourself, and which ones you will like best!
Here is our Pink Dots Christening Invitation. It has been completed in Spanish at the customer's request! We can do this easily, just provide us with the text you'd like to use! Also, because it was printed on cardstock, back printing was available at no additional fee!

Next up is our Daniel photo birth announcement

Lastly is our super cute Luke baby boy announcement!

Hi everyone! I hope you have all had a great week! Here are some of my favorites from this week. :)
Up first is our Modern Birthday Pink birthday invitation.

Next is our Pink Stripes Photo Christening Invitation done in custom colors. It's a great way to make a design all your own!

And last up is our Big Blue Birthday card with custom colors. Cardstock allowed for backside printing, and in this case, a sweet message!

That's it from me this week. "See" you next week! :)

It's Tuesday, and it's hot! Well, not where I am, but I know the Eastern USA is sweltering under the high heat and humidity. I hope everyone is keeping cool, and if you like, you can send some heat up this way!
For the photo tip this week, I have to stress just one thing. Please do not submit professional photos that you have not gotten a release form or permission to use! We love our photographers, and they work so hard, so it's important to respect their work and copyrights. If they took the photos, they own the photos, so to use them, you must ask their permission. If they have not given you a release form, or the actual high resolution images, you must contact them for permission, and forward us the release form. If you save the photos from the internet, as thumbnails, they will not work in your design, as they are low resolution. It is also illegal to do this. You must arrange for the original photos from your photographer, or alternatively, he or she can send them to us directly. We love to use professional photos, as it makes the design that much better, however, we do need permission from the photographers first. We appreciate your cooperation! If you have questions on how to obtain a release form from your photographer, please email us and we can tell you how. Some photographers do not allow for such usage, so you should ask first before getting your photos done, if you really have your heart set on using them in our designs. This includes school photos, portrait studios such as Sears, Picture People, etc, as well as private, individual photographers. If you scan your photos, you must still provide a release form!
We also have a new file size requirement for photos. All photos submitted must be a minimum of 300 kb in file size. We are receiving a lot of low resolution images, causing delays with your order, as we have to email for larger versions. They can also produce poor prints, as we have to enlarge them, causing quality loss. Please always take your photos at the highest setting on your camera, and email us the original photos unmodified. If you save your photos from the internet, they will be compressed and not suitable. This applies for all photo galleries and photographers websites. If you are concerned about the photo you plan to use, please email them to us, and we will be happy to evaluate it at no charge!
I have some girl designs to share this week! First is a custom coloured version of our Aubrey photo birth announcement. The mom wanted the photo converted to black and white, with the bow hand tinted, and we did this at no additional charge! We then switched out some of the pink circles and text for red to coordinate. Perfect for this little one, who was born on Valentine's Day!

Next up is our Karson photo birth announcement, this time modified for beautiful twin girls! The parents ordered cardstock which allowed for back printing with a sweet saying on the back.

Back of the card

Last but not least, I have a cardstock version of our revamped Kathryn design. The parents also chose cardstock for this design, and this allowed for an extra photo for the back.

I hope you all have a wonderful week, please email me if you have any questions and I'll be glad to help!
Until next week!

Happy Tuesday everyone!
I hope you're all having a good week so far! Jamie here this Tuesday, and I'm glad to be back into the swing of things this week! I do want to let everyone know that we have a new section available on how to order a custom design. We do custom designs at NO EXTRA CHARGE. We will also modify any of our existing designs, also at no additional fee! Click here to see what this includes! Please remember our minimum order is 25 cards or 1 pack of cardstock regardless of whether it is a custom design or not. We will not take less than minimum orders, and will email you to complete the order if it is below minimum.
We have been busy this week, and I have a few cute cards to share this morning!
First off, we have our Adam Design done in a 5x7 cardstock, that allows for back printing. The photos were professionally done, and are beautiful!

And the back:

Next up is our Pink Charcoal Christening invitation. The design was changed to a chocolate brown. This one was also in cardstock, so the mom customized the back to her liking!

And the back...

Finally, I have our newest item, our Baby Update Cards. These are great for sending out in between the birth announcement and the birthday invitation. This one is our Baby Circles Blue update card!

Our photo tip of the day...please make sure your camera is at its highest setting before taking your photos! If you take them at low resolution, there is really nothing we can do to make them better. It will make your photos very large in file size to take them at the highest resolution, but this is what we need for a crisp, clear print. If you have any questions about your photos, and whether they will work, please email us at photos@sweetbabydesigns.com and I'll have a look at them for you!
Until next week, have a great week!
Jamie :)

Hi everyone! It's already June, can you believe it!? The year is almost half gone!
I wanted to highlight some custom orders that I've done recently. All our designs are fully customizable. Keep that in mind if you just aren't finding *THE* design you are looking for!
Some are small changes....
This is our Joseph design with a different font and a second line added. This customer knew which font she wanted and sent us a link to the font.

This is our Aidyn Design done vertically instead of horizontally and with 3 pictures along the bottom instead of 4.

This is our Mallory design with custom colors to compliment the photo. A very easy, yet often powerful change to any design!

Next up is our Big Blue Birthday invitation. This was made as a party favor to give out at the party. Also done with custom colors and done in cardstock, so there was also room on the back for a personalized message and another photo!

This next one is an invite made with our Courtney announcement design and custom colors and borders. This customer had birth announcements made with the crowns border and wanted it to compliment. Also done in cardstock, she highlighted the first 12 months in pictures on the back!

Last up is a Red Egg and Ginger Party invitation. This card uses elements from our pink cupcake birthday invitation, and our Deliliah and Aliya birth announcements. Also done in cardstock to allow for backside printing!

And a coordinating 8x10 that also used some elements from our Alyssa design.

I hope you enjoyed seeing some unique creations!
