After a holiday weekend in the USA, everyone is back to work and back to school today. I hope you all had a great weekend with your families, and hopefully good weather! We had a lot of rain, but yesterday was a beautiful day!
Myself, I was gone for an entire week, on a househunting trip, as I will be moving at the end of June when school closes for us. Thank you Jaclyn for taking over for me while I was away (without internet!). I missed being around, and am glad to be back in full swing this morning. If you received emails from Jaclyn, and then receive similiar emails from me, please bear with me, as I am trying to clarify the orders, etc that came in while I was away.
Because I was away, I unfortunately don't have any orders to share this week. Our photo tip of the week: When taking photos of your baby, try to make sure there are no shadows on his/her face. We can lighten the photos significantly, but if you have a shadow on them, it is hard to lighten that without over exposing the entire photo. It also makes converting to black and white difficult, as depending on how dark the image is, the shadowed part will be extremely dark and you'll lose a lot of detail. As always, if you have any questions about a photo you have chosen, please email us at info@sweetbabydesigns.com and we can take a look for you before you order, and let you know how we think it will turn out.

Jamie here, hoping you all had a wonderful Mother's Day!!! It's been storming like crazy, with cold, cold rain and wind. I am really looking forward to summer!
Photo Tip for today:
Do not edit or convert your photos to black and white at home! We have many ways to do this, that will keep the "depth" of your photo. Just taking the color out will make the image appear flatter, and it is best for us to work with the image before converting it to black and white to get the shadowing just right or fix any imperfections. We love to work with your photos, so please let us do so!
Our changeover has been successful thus far, I know some of our customers have had a few questions, and if you do, please email me at info@sweetbabydesigns.com and I will most certainly help you as quickly as I possibly can!
I have a few orders to share, first is our new Allen design, converted to a 5x7 and also in cardstock that allows for back printing. I just love this design, the blue is such a pretty colour!
And the back....
Next up, is our Steven design. The mom wanted the text on the top to be a little more "artsy" and I did the cursive to match the baby's name below, and changed it to the aqua.
Finally, I have a baby shower design, it is our Pink Dots Baby Shower design, one of our new designs.

We have no other way to get your proof to you, only via email. If you do not specify what email address to email your proof, we will use the one on your payment information, which may or may not be correct.
So please take the time to double check your information to make sure it is all included, to prevent delays in the processing of your proof. We want to complete your order as fast and effeciently as possible!

We're more than happy to make your shopping experience as easy as possible! You will be directed to upload your photos immediately following check out!
Once you have paid and uploaded your photos, you will receive your online proof to view within 48-72 hours. If you have any trouble with the photo uploader please email us and we can help. Please be patient with it, if you have large and/or multiple photos, it may take awhile for them to upload.
If you are wondering the status of your order, just log into your account and you should be able to see if we have received your photos, or if a proof has been sent. Please allow 6 hours after payment for photo receipt status changes, and 48-72 hours for the proof sent status changes. If your status is "proof sent" and you have not received it, please check your junk folder, if it is not there, please email us at info@sweetbabydesigns.com and we will resend it to you.
Please remember our minimum order is 25 cards, or 1 pack of cardstock. You will be notified by customer service if you are under this amount and will be given instructions on what to do to complete the order.

Happy Sunday to all of our customers!
Today is the day we switch to our new site. As you can see from this blog, it's a sneak peek in itself of the colours we will be using, and the basic design! We are so excited about it! We have so many new designs, new papers we're offering, and an easier way to shop.
With new sites, it sometimes takes 24-48 hours for it to propogate through the internet, so you may not see us, or our new site for a day or two. We certainly hope this is not the case, but it is a possiblity. Keep checking back and try to delete your internet cookies, if you still can't see us after a day or two. Sometimes your computer "remembers" the old site and will not show the new one.
We are so looking forward to our grand reopening tomorrow!!!!
