It's almost here!

Happy Sunday everyone!!!

We are so very excited to announce our new site is almost complete! We will be debuting more beautiful new designs, many new products, new paper finishes, and a much easier way for our customers to shop.

As a result of the change over, we are now CLOSED to any NEW orders effective today, Sunday, April 27th until Monday, May 5th. We will be relaunching the site on Monday, May 5th at 9 am EST and hope you will join us on that day! There might be some surprises!

If you have placed an order with us, the proof must be approved and payment completed before SATURDAY, MAY 3rd at 3 pm EST. If it is not, you will have to resubmit under our new system thus causing delays!

If you have a question about orders already placed, please email Jamie at info@sweetbabydesigns.com. She will be in today, and all week to answer any questions you may have! If you have a question regarding shipment of your order, please email shipping@sweetbabydesigns.com. Please include your original order number.

It's Thursday again, and I'm here to share some of my favorites from the week! 

This is our Reagan design.  Cardstock allows for backside printing!

Next up is our Joshua design.  Works great with color and black and white photos!

And last up is a our clinton design in a 4x6 folded cardstock size!  Folded carstock allows for printing on the inside as well as the back!

Hectic is definitely the key word here this week! We are so excited for the new update!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far!

Jamie here this week with some news on our site update. I have been working very hard to get the new site design ready, and we are setting a very tentative date of May 1st for the launch. We will keep you updated on that! We are so excited about it, and hope that it will make the ordering process easier for all of our customers!

I also want to start something new this week, as I see all the photos that come in, I will be doing a Tuesday Photo Tip! Today's photo tip: take a look at the design you are planning to order, and take a photo based on the design, rather than trying to fit a photo in that might not work. One of the biggest problems we have, is trying to fit a vertical photo into a horizontal space, and vice versa. For the best results, use a photo that is the same orientation as the one on the design you like. Your photo will likely fit much better, and also need a lot less cropping!

As a result of putting all my efforts into the new site, I have not been doing much in the way of customer orders or designs, so I don't have anything new to share this week. But, I can show you another sneak peek of a revamped design that I have done for the new site!

Moving on up!

Sweet Baby Designs is thrilled to announce that we are in the process of a complete site redesign. We will soon be featuring a new site, new ordering processes (to make everything easier for our customers), and BRAND NEW DESIGNS!

We are very excited about the new designs we have for you in all areas... Birth announcements, invitations, thank you cards, and more!

We will be announcing the official launch date for the new site very soon, so keep checking back!

Some favs on Thursday!

Hi everyone!  I've got a couple of favorites from this week to share!
First, being a twin myself, I LOVE when I get orders for twins.  Makes my day!  And these two boys make me melt!  Aren't they cute?!  This is our doubly blessed design done in boy colors. :)

Next up is our Logan 5x5 design.  Simple and it makes such a sweet statement! 

And last for today is our Tricia announcement with a different quote at the top! I think it works perfectly!

This is our adorable Kirsten design, in 4x6 format. Always adorable!




This was a custom order. Mom wanted a black background, and polkdots to match the hand tinting on the photo. Printing on cardstock allowed for the design to continue on the back of the card. This is just too cute!





Add in a matching Thank You card to complete the set!

Our newest designer Erin Howe!

We are thrilled to have Erin on our team and we can only hope that you love her as much as we do! We are also delighted to have another mommy join our crew and Erin tops us all with 5 little ones!

How long have you been a graphic designer?

I’ve been dabbling in graphic design for about 4 years now.

What inspires your creativity?

Good music and chocolate. :D 

What other creative outlets or hobbies do you have?

Photography, scrapbooking and playing the piano.

What’s your favorite part about this job?

Aside from working in my jammies!!??  The people I work with, and the flexibility I have with this job.

I'm here to share some design favorites and custom orders of the week! (Also check below for some sneak peeks!)

This is a version of our Brianna design, custom ordered with green colors and pink writing!

Next, this beauty is our popular Layla design, custom ordered with four extra photos on the bottom.




This is our fabulous Kirsten design, with an extra photo added onto the top right corner. Printing on cardstock allowed for an extra photo to be added to the back of the card.

This is our Baylee design, with the background stripe from our Steven design, change to a pretty pink. Cardstock printing allowed for the design to be continued onto the back!
